My name is Josh, and I have the privilege of serving as the Chairman and Team Leader of the Wirral Community First Responders. Alongside my leadership role, I am also an Enhanced First Responder, trained by the North West Ambulance Service.

I am deeply committed to supporting our community by providing vital emergency care when every second counts. Leading this dedicated team of volunteers allows me to combine my passion for helping others with my drive to strengthen local healthcare resilience. My goal is to ensure that our responders are equipped, supported, and ready to deliver the best possible care to those in urgent need.

North West First Responder Group – June 2026 Update North West First Responder Group has continued to make a significant impact across our communities throughout May, with volunteers responding to 191 emergency incidents on behalf of North West Ambulance Service. North West First Responder Group – May 2026 Update April was another incredibly busy and rewarding month for North West First Responder Group, with our teams continuing to make a real difference across the region. Responding When It Matters Most Throughout April, our volunteers attended 208 emergency incidents, including 71 Category 1 (life-threatening) calls and 137 Category 2 calls.
