Wirral Community First Responders – December 2025 Update

ree

In November, our team attended 103 emergency incidents, including 21 Category 1 and 82 Category 2 calls, arriving before an ambulance 73 times and providing over 200 hours of lifesaving support. We were proud to see our Chair and CEO, Josh, honoured with the Volunteers’ Chair Award at the NWAS Awards for his exceptional leadership. Our responders also engaged the community through CPR and AED awareness training with the Monday Circle Ladies Club, helping more local people feel confident in an emergency.

We welcomed new applicants to our Support Volunteer Programme, helping expand our fundraising and community outreach. Our team also took part in the 2025 NWAS CFR Conference, celebrating the impact of CFRs across the region. A recent CPD training day provided invaluable hands-on experience with realistic medical and trauma scenarios, strengthening responder skills and teamwork.

Being there for people when they need us most.
